Return Policy

We offer a 14-day return policy, giving you 14 days from the date you receive your item to request a return.


Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible, the item must be in the same condition as when you received it—unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. A receipt or proof of purchase is also required.

We do not accept returns for opened tea packages to ensure the quality and safety of our products. Additionally, if the return is due to customer preference or failure to review the product information, the customer is responsible for covering the return shipping costs.


How to Start a Return

Contact us at hello@kanoatea.com to initiate your return. Returns can only be processed after contacting us, and the return address will be provided at that time.

If your return is accepted, we will provide:

A return shipping label if the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect.

Instructions on how and where to send the package.

For returns due to customer preference or errors, you will need to arrange and cover the cost of return shipping yourself.

Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately if you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item. We will evaluate the issue promptly and work to resolve it.


Exceptions / Non-returnable Items

Certain items are not eligible for returns, including:

Perishable goods (e.g., teas)

Custom products (e.g., special orders or personalized items)

Personal care products 

We do not accept returns for opened tea packages under any circumstances. If you have questions about the eligibility of your item, please contact us before requesting a return.

Unfortunately, we do not accept returns for sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges

The fastest way to get what you need is to return your item and, once the return is approved, make a separate purchase for the new item.


European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If your order is being shipped to the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return it within 14 days for any reason, without justification. The item must be in the same condition as when you received it—unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. A receipt or proof of purchase is required.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you if your refund has been approved. If approved, the refund will be automatically issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Please note that your bank or credit card company may take additional time to process and post the refund.
