From Pop-Up Cafés to Exclusive Gyokuro Workshops
This February 2026 marks a special milestone for Kanoa Tea. Together with our tea farmer from Shizuoka, Japan, we are hosting a curated series of events across Germany — bringing authentic Japanese tea culture directly to Munich, Berlin, and Cologne.
At the heart of the experience are selected Gyokuro qualities, their precise preparation, and authentic insights into Japanese tea production.
Munich – University Edition

We begin in Munich with a relaxed Matcha Pop-Up Café. Premium matcha will be freshly prepared by our tea farmer and offered at a special price of €5. An informal setting to experience Japanese tea culture in a contemporary university environment.
🕐 3–4:30 pm | Japanese Tea Seminar with a Tea Farmer (€5,30)
A beginner-level seminar introducing Japanese tea through the perspective of a tea producer from Shizuoka. Participants will gain insight into cultivation, shading techniques, and the philosophy behind high-quality Japanese tea.
Berlin – Professional Exchange & Gyokuro Focus

For the first time in Berlin, we present our Gyokuro collection in a café format. Guests can experience the depth, umami, and elegance of our carefully selected teas in a relaxed setting.

A small-group workshop dedicated to understanding tea quality and mastering the preparation of premium Gyokuro at home. Featuring our tea farmer as a special guest, this session combines technical knowledge with sensory refinement.
