Gyokuro Experience

Gyokuro Experience

Kanoa Tea

Kanoa Private Culture Salon | Gyokuro — Berlin

An intimate tea experience for 1 to 4 guests in Berlin-Mitte, just 2 minutes from Hackescher Markt.

Sourced directly from a single farm in Shizuoka, gyokuro is the pinnacle of Japanese tea — rare even in Japan itself. The way it is prepared changes with the season: cold-brewed in summer, slow and low in spring, rich and warming in winter.

This is not a course, not a ceremony — just a quiet moment to yourself, savouring the finest Japanese tea as a gift to yourself. Come back often enough, and you'll find yourself brewing gyokuro with care at home.

  • The art of brewing japanese tea at home

Learn to feel the difference between water temperatures, tea leaves, and vessels. Over time, you'll find yourself brewing japanese tea with quiet confidence in your own kitchen.

  • A new way of seeing flowers

Discover how to read a flower's character — its curve, its weight, its silence — and let that guide your arrangement. A skill that changes how you see nature long after the session ends.

  • A moment of stillness you can return to

Not a technique to master, but a feeling to carry with you. Each visit deepens your sense of Japanese aesthetics — slowly, without you even noticing.
